What we collect
Your email and (optionally) Google profile basics for sign-in. Anything you create in the app: ratings, diary entries, reviews, lists, follows, likes, watchlist saves. Anonymous usage events (which screens you opened, which actions you took) so we can improve the product.
Region
On first sign-in we capture a coarse country code from your network so the Popular this week rail matches where you are. It's stored against your profile and used only to scope discovery. You can ignore it by leaving the default.
Who sees what
Your profile, public lists, reviews, ratings and diary entries are visible to anyone with a link unless you mark them private. Your email is never shown. Follows are public on both sides.
Who we share with
Nobody, beyond the cloud infrastructure that runs Binged (auth, database, file storage). We do not sell, rent or transfer your data for advertising. There is no advertising on Binged.
Deleting your account
Email hello@binged.tv from the address on your account and we'll delete it within 7 days, including everything you wrote. A self-serve delete button ships before public launch.
